Drive Mappings

We have a login script that maps network drives for users. It works fine on
all PCs except for one Dell C840 laptop. Sometimes all of the drives will
map like they should, sometimes they will not map at first but eventually
they come in, and sometimes they don't map. The laptop is connected just
fine to the network because if I type in the address of the network location
I would like to access (or that should be mapped) it connects just fine,
even if the drives don't automatically map like they should.

I tried moving the laptop to a different network port with a different
network cable and got the same results. I also updated the BIOS and the NIC
drivers, with no luck.

Any ideas?

Assuming the laptop is XP, try turning off fast logon:
