Drive mapping suddenly unavailable

I have 1 desktop and 2 wireless laptops all running Win2K.
I have an SMC router and Proxim wireless.
Since I installed the patch from MS I can no longer map
drives. Any one have any ideas as to how this happened?

When trying to map drive I get "Network path not found"

MS issued a patch through the auto update service.
