Drive Manager says something I have never seen before

I have a IDE drive that is set to boot after the Floppy and the CD-ROM in
the BIOS. I have two SCSI drives neither set to be bootable in the BIOS for
boot order anyway. My C drive says System in Drive Manager. But my SCSI 0
harddrive says Active. How can this be? I thought we could only have one
Active Partition at any one time? Thanks.

You can have one active partition per drive but for purposes of windows
operating systems (and native boot loader) only the pc's boot device counts.
