Thanks to the help I got in the "Dual Boot Reversal" thread, I now have:

Drive 0 - Vista (D)
Drive 1 - XP (C)
Drive 2 - Files(G)

All is working well and Vista is on the 1st HD as I wanted it.

Am I apt to run into any issues with drive D being ahead of C in the HD
order?
OR, are the letters meaningless?

I tried changing D>C and C>D, even changed the registry - not good results
:-)
--thank God for Acronis True Image---

Thanks for your help in this adventure.

Drive letters will not matter.
Microsoft knows that many people will be running
several versions of Windows...and thus mulit-booting...
and only one version will be on the C: drive.
Does not make any difference though...
applications , by default, simply install on the same drive as the OS

Thanks philo.
