drive error message

Every time I shut Win XP (sp2) down I get the
following error message and I have Nothing drive A:
"The drive is not ready for use, the door maybe open. Please check Drive A:
and make sure the drive is inserted and that the drive door is closed."

Look in Device Manager and see if any problem is being reported regarding
the floppy drive? Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and
select Properties, Hardware, Device Manager.
