drive designations in winxp home edition

How do I change the drive designations in winxp? a simple matter in win98-- they come up with my hd #2 a
dr E: and my zip dr. as dr. D:. I want hd 2 to be dr. D:???

Go to Start > Run and type diskmgmt.msc

Right-click on the drive you want to change, choose 'Change letter...'
