Dreamscene running but not showing

hi

i have windows vista ultimate with 4 gb ram and 256 graphics card.
dreamscene doesn show on my desktop.. but i think its running cause my CPU
usage goes up when i set a dreamscene wallpaper it just doesnt show on my
desktop.

please help

Right-click on Computer, click properties, down the bottom left of the
window under "see also" click performance, up the top click on adjust visual
effects, make sure "Show translucent selection rectangle" is checked then
click apply then ok.

hey thx for the reply, i followed ur instructions but "Show translucent
selection rectangle" is already selected , any other suggestions ?

Without more detail, I'm simply shooting in the dark:

What does your Windows Expereince Index rate your graphics?
If less than 3.0, try to update it.

Find a simple movie file and point Dreamscene to it. Does it play?

Are your video drivers up-to-date?

Have you tried to uninstall Dreamscene and then re-install it?
