dream scene problem

Dream scene runs for 5secs or so perfectly and then stops running. Then it
is converted to a static picture.
Right lower corner of screen says windows has switched to basic theme from
aero, n that i need aero enabled on my pc. But the fact is aero is always
enabled on my vista. I double check it always.

My pc config is
Intel core 2 quad 2.66
8mb l2 ram
1gb ddr2
lots of free space.

Aero depends on your video card not your CPU. So if your card can't
handle the throughput needed for Dreamscene to run it shuts down Aero.

That said I think the Dream Scene crap is useless. What do you do sit at
your computer and stare at the screen? If your away from the PC who
cares what's showing? So just what it it for? Advertising hype.
