Drawing in Word

I'm trying to draw a rough sketch plan of a house in word 07, all I want to
do is draw a series of straight lines, hopefully by clicking on one part of
the canvas/graph and then clicking on the part of the graph where I want the
line to end, then repeating the process to get a basic outline of the ground
floor of a house (basically to illustrate the walls)...any ideas??

Drawings are better done in PowerPoint but if you wish to use Word: Select
Autoshapes>Lines>Freeform. click once where you want to start and pull away
with the mouse, click again for each "corner" of your shape. Double click to
end the drawing.
