Drawing a semi-circle in Excel

Hi

I want to draw a health-meter kinda thing on the lines of speedometer. it will be a semi-circle inside which a line joining the centre to the circumference will move on the basis of three indices
The best condition is shown when the angle is 180 degree and the worst is when it is 0 degree
There are two limits -one is warnign limit and the other is danger limit
As the line crosses the warning limit, the area beyond that will be yellow in colour and after the danger limit, it will show in red
How can I do tha

Maybe try Jon Peltier's:

and Andy Pope's:

What bit is troubling you? Is it that your 'speedometer' looks like it
is on it's side? Try starting with the best condition at 270 degrees
and the worst at 90 degrees. Is it the semi-circle shape? If so, try a
horizontal display to start with (I've seen actual speedometers that
look like this though the 180 was probably kph rather than mph), it
could be easier to conceptualize. Is it the colors? On Excel's Drawing
toolbar you want the button that looks like a pot of paint being
tipped over. Is it that you want someone to create and code everything
for you? Hmmm, I dunno about that one.

Well for one thins, I cannot use the tool bar...since this meter will move on the basis of the metrics, it has to be automated. And that means it has to be through VBA. And I donno how to create a drawing object through VB Scripting.
:) Hope this clarifies how novice I am in this area and what kinda help I am looking for.
