It's no different with a photo than with any other file. You can drag
and drop it, as you suggested, cut and paste it, etc.
If you don't know how to drag and drop, open "Computer" and navigate
to the file you want to move. Then open "Computer" a second time, and
navigate to the folder where you want the file. Move one of the
windows so you can see both, then just click and drag the file.
Thank you so much Ken that worked perfectly I hadn't thought to open the
çomputer' up twice. I am so used to XP where I just click on the 'move'and
tell it where I want it to be moved too.
Im very proficient with XP, but Vista is driving me potty at the moment, but
I am sure I will get there eventually.
You can also press the ALT key with the explorer window open and a tool bar
will appear accross the top. Select Edit and a "move to folder" option will
appear.
You can also have this tool bar remain open if you'd like by selecting
Organize,
then Layout and select Menu Bar.
