Win 2000 just stopped allowing these functions, copy and
paste or drag and drop to move an existing file from one
directory to another. I can still open the files in the
respective application, then save as to another
location. Anyone have a solution? Currently upgraded to
Service pack 4, although the problem started with SVC
Pack 3 installed.

Is your PC virus free?
The Blaster and or Nachi worm also affects copy/paste (by
stopping the RPC).
