drag copy formula wierdness

C

Colin Basterfield

Hi there

All of the sudden, when I enter a formula into a cell, for example a
percentage
conversion for currency exchange (eg =a1*.7647) and try and drag fill for
a2, a3 etc, the actual calculation for a1 appears in the fill cells, not the
calculation for the specific cell. HOWEVER, the formula for the cells is
correct, but i have to individually select the cell and hit enter for it to
apply.

I have been working with excel for many years and this is so frustrating!

please someone help me fix it!

cheers
susan

Do you have your calculations set to manual under tools>options>calculation?
If so, set that to automatic

Colin

Check out Tools>Options>Calculation.

Reset to Auto-calculate if on manual.

Hey Gord,

looks like you're forced to watch Swedish hockey this season,
I've read that Canadian TV has bought the rights to Elitserien
where I've heard that many NHL players will be playing?
