I do remote desktop connection between my laptop here at home to my desktop
in the office and I have admin capabilities on my ids.

How can I enable the capabilities of dragging and dropping of files between
the two workstations.

If possible, please provide me with the step by step procedures. I
appreciate your help and thanks for all your help.

You don't. Not with native Windows XP tools. (Remote Desktop)

You can share your resources (like the drives) and "drag/drop" the files to
a hard drive on your remote machine, but you cannot drag/drop from one
screen to the other.

How to gain access to local files in a remote desktop session to a Windows
XP-based or to a Windows Server 2003-based host computer
