Drag and Drop Titles and Text

The ability to drag and drop titles and text into the "Click Here To Add
Text" areas has been eliminated from Powerpoint 2002 and 2003 versions. I'd
like to suggest adding it back in for future Service Pack Revisions.
Much of my work day is spent reformatting the presentations of individuals
who are Powerpoint "challenged." That missing feature, now absent from
Powerpoint 2003, is making my life a lot harder. I spend quite a bit more
time copying and pasting the errant titles and text into the correct areas.
Thanks,
Kathie

and while we're at it how about some method to change the default paste
option? When I move text from point A to point B I really don't like
having to tell it to not reformat (the little paste options pull down
that I understand can't be disabled).

My workaround is ALT>E>S>U

which is a royal PITA :-)

See my answer to your earlier post on the subject. It should help.

Pete,

Agree it is a pain, but I LIKE it when someone uses shortcuts intelligently!

;-)

My Favourite is <Alt> F+D+A! Allows me to send stuff to all sorts of places
<g>.
