I have seen worksheets used in draft form that have the
word "DRAFT" overlayed on the worksheet in a
semi-transparent fasion. How can I do that to one of my
workbooks??

Cheers, Bill

1. Using WordArt (Insert-->Picture-->WordArt); I chose the 2nd Style
in the WordArt Gallery

2. Typed the word Draft and Clicked OK

3. I then resized the image so it filled the print area

4. While still selecting the WordArt image, I then Clicked the Format
WordArt button on the WordArt toolbar (has a paint can and paintbrush
on the
button image). If you don't see the WordArt toolbar, make sure you're
selecting the image and Click Format-->WordArt on the Manu Bar.

5. In Excel 2000, I enabled the "Semitransparent" checkbox, then used
the
Fill Color dropdown and chose a light gray color. I also chose "No
Line" on
the Line Color dropdown.

Note: Excel 2002 allows you to set an exact percentage of
transparency.
