I have recently cloned my HD contents, OS and all to a larger HD. For the
most part everything has gone smoothly, but since moving up to the larger
HD, I have had numerous instances where Dr. Watson detects and error and
hangs during reporting. The system seems locked up until the task manager is
brought up using ctl-alt-delete. If I kill drwatson.exe I am back up again.

Looking at the event log, I find a couple of common dll's that seem to be
misbehaving. ntdll.dll and dbghelp.dll.

In addition to installing IE 7, I have installed .NET Framework 1.1 and SP1
for .NET Framework.

Has anyone else out there experienced this?
I would appreciate any information that you all can provide to shed light on
this problem.

If your not debugging your system or having someone else do so, just
turn Drwatson off.

Start | Run <type in>
drwtsn32
<enter>

Unselect everything. Notice the crash dump directory, go there and
delete the user.dmp files you find, they can be huge.

I'm having exactly the same problem, its infuriating, any help would be
appreciated.
