Can you drag the resolution slider under settings to the right and shrink
everything?

If you can't get the mouse to the portion of the window that lets you
drag it around (to get at hidden objects within the window), use the
keyboard to move the whole window around.

Do the following: in a window open on the desktop, click on the control
menu button. It's the icon at the left end of the title bar. See the
drop-down list? One of the entries is Move. That moves the entire
window around. The keyboard shortcut to open the control menu is
Alt+Spacebar. The shortcut key in that menu is M. So hit Alt+Spacebar
and then hit M. Then use the arrow keys to move the window around to
see the hidden parts of the window. When you are done moving to where
you want using the arrow keys, hit the Enter key to leave it where you
positioned it, or hit Esc key if you want to discard your positioning.
