Hi,

we are required to develop an application that will overrides
internertexplorers download manager and saves the file to a location on the
hard drive.

we selected VB.Net lang to develop this application/.//

is that fine to procede further can u suggest me.

Anuradha,

The best thing you can probably do is take direct contact with the Microsoft
Security Department of Internet Explorer. Than they can make the security
patch to prevent what you are doing before that you have implemented it.
