downloading to flash drive from network

I am trying to down load students assignments which are on a network to my
Lexar Jump Drive.

You don't want to use PowerPoint to do this (even if they are PowerPoint
files). You probably want to drag them to your Jump drive with Windows. If
you are accessing them over a Web-based interface, you might want to right-
click on the link and choose to Save them, rather than Open them.
