Downloading from Microsoft

I currently running Windows Xp and Internet Explorer 7 and I can not download
from Microsoft. When I try it allows me to go to the download page but then
tells me to check my internet connection. Does anyone have an ideas???????

I have seen this issue before. Your Windows XP is it a legally LICENSED Retail
version or is it an OEM version installed on a legally LICENSED computer

The only download that requires IE is Windows Update. All others will work
with Firefox, Seamonkey, Opera, etc. Try one of these.
