Downloading file

Once i accidently unclicked the button
"Always ask before opening this type of file" and now any
file i download of a certain type the save message doesnt
appear, how can i resolve this ?

Hi Kevin,

In any explorer window, click on tools >> folder options and flip to the
'File Types' tab. Select the type of file on which you want to make the
correction and click on Advanced. In the advanced dialog box, check "confirm
open after download".

Hi,

To turn the option ""Always ask before opening this type of file" back on:

Open Windows Explorer.
Click on Tools and select Folder Options... in the menu.
Once the Folder Options dialog is open, select the 'File Types' tab and find
the file type you want to change the settings for.
Click the Advanced button to check the settings. Make sure that the "Confirm
open after download" is checked. Click OK to close.
