Downloading code project dll's?

Hello,

Is it ok to let users download DShowNet.dll from my site instead of
www.codeproject.com that needs username & password? The software using
dll is for detecting meteors from night sky and used in a non-business
manner.

Nowadays there are too much wicked guys who want to harm/get control your PC.
I strongly recommend you to let users download all windows-based required
components *only* from the Microsoft cites, because its the most trusting way
(except the shipping your app with all components)

Hi Janne,

That's not up to us... that's up to the people who created the control. If
you do a bit of poking, you should be able to find a contact address. Take
some time to e-mail them, explaining what you're doing and they'll reply
with information about the licensing constraints they're putting on their
component.

Google first, ask later.

By some hours of googling I finally found the correct place to ask (the
dll name has changed). Thanks to you and all (it's LGPL license).
