Downloader Trojans?

Hi.
I have a virus in c:\programme files\windupdates. AVG finds it, but can't
touch it. The folder has about three infected files. I can shred them
using Spybot secure shredder, but the folder instantly regenerates two or
three more files, and when I run AVG, it finds trojans there again. Escan
(mwav.exe) was recommended, but doesn't seem to find the problem. Any other
ideas? It's a downloader trojan problem, but it seems to be stubborn.
Thanks.

Try an online virus scanning site, such as Symantec or Mcafee. You could
also try Lavasoft's Adaware.

Try booting to Safe Mode before scanning. The trojan shouldn't be running
in safe mode, allowing your AVG to get rid of it.
