Downloaded MySQL ODBC driver ... now what?

J

Jamie Risk

I've downloaded the ODBC driver from the MySQL site for use with Access 2002
on an XP machine. Through the control panel I was able to configure the
connection to the database on the web, and tested the connection
sucessfullly.

What do I do now to get Access to hook up to the ODBC source?

In Access select File/Get External Data/. Then choose Import or Link Tables. When the file windows opens, select ODBC Databases() in Files of Type drop down. The ODBC connection box will open. Then select Machine Data Source and select your ODBC database.
