Download streaming movies?

I'm looking for freeware that can download movie streams. I would like to
be able to only download the first five minutes. Is there any software that
can do this?

If not free, you can suggest it anyway if it has a trial.

Netware 1.87 can often do that.
Or you can use Firefox in combination with extenstions: Download embedded,
or Unplug, or Videodownloader, or Adblock, or Downthemall.
I would
like to be able to only download the first five minutes. Is there any

You can try to interrupt the download and then play the partial download.
