Can any kind person tell me how I can download the published website from my
server and save it to mywebs on my hard disc. I'm using FP2002 and have
opened FP, gone to File, Open Web but all it will show is the folders and
not the actual web pages. Any help as always would be most welcome. Fred

If your online site has the FP Server Extensions
File Open Web/Site and enter your URL as
http://www.yoursitename.com/ and log in
(only the folders will show until you open a page)
The use file Publish and browse to an existing folder

I do not recommend the My Web folder,
- instead publish it to a top level folder on your hard drive w/o any spaces in the name as in
C:\MyWeb

Hi Stephan,

Following your advice It's ok until I reach the page where it shows all the
folders, however I can't seem to get pass this stage as if I click on any of
the folders it shows as empty.

Can you tell me how I can open a page?

Fred

There is no "page" where it shows all the folders

When you open a FP web you have a Folder List on the left and/or a Folders View in FP2003 on the right (or in older versions of FP
if you turn it on using View Folders)
In either one, Double click a folder to see its contents

Post the URL you are using to open your FP Site
