If it wasn't for the flood i'd be still happy with my XP. So now i have this
Vista and it's really a pain. I HATED media player 11, so i uninstalled it
from my xp after "upgrading". Of course Vista has 11... Has anyone
downgraded back to 10? can it be done?

I'm really upset over lots of things that are not "compatable" with this OS.
Was going to find a new XP, but figured a few years down the road it would
be obsolete like ME and 98. Oh well!

As time goes on more and more manufacturers will release Vista compatible
drivers. The only problem I have had with hardware is my DiscStakka device
that holds all of my CD's. Vista can see the device however the driver that
works in XP wont allow me to eject or put in any physical CD's. Hopefully
the company that has these devices will churn out a driver soon.

Vista is different and takes some getting used to. When you are in a work
environment trying to be productive it can be more than challenging to make
the irritations less irritating. LOL... I wish you luck with your learning
curve because I know there is one.
