Double ups when moving files.......

Hope someone can help me. Every now and then I need to move files to a
different folder, so I do the cut and paste etc....When I return to the
original folder that I cut the files from I find that they are still there as
well as in the folder that they were pasted to. I have tried deleting the
files out of the original folder but when I leave that folder and go back
they are still there. Doesn't matter whether they are word docs, xcel, pdf's
- what am I doing wrong?

once you select the files you want to move...

go to 'edit' then 'move to folder'

Thanks heaps philo.......as simple as that, man am I a dummy! I'm so used to
doing cut & paste or drag & drop that going to 'edit' never even ocurred to
me.

OOOPS........i celebrated too soon. New day & turned on computer. Went to
folders to open a spreadsheet I was working on...........and..........they're
back!!! Any other advice please would be much appreciated.
