Double up of C drive

Hello All

I have strange problem with my Compaq ProLiant server running windows 2000
server OS, which is suddenly I have replica of C drive as D drive. They are
just identical drives; everything is the same including same folders, same
disk size etc. Now I have 2 drive C and D and they are just the same!!!

When I restarted my server last time it gave me an error of missing or no
page file and then it will not let me in. I have restart server few times and
finally it let me in

Could please be able explain this mystery to me and also if you could advice
a fix?

There is now a v2 of the rollup but WU won't suggest it if v1 is installed.

The system alternates between the original system drive and the new virtual
system drive letter every time that you restart so I'd restart and make sure
the drive letter is correct and then apply V2
