Double Left clicking mouse and it brings up search results..

I'm running Win XP Home Edition. Everything was fine, now all the sudden when
I double-click the left mouse button it opens a search results window instead
of the folder I wanted open. It only does this on folder icons. I can't find
any options to change this. Also right clicking brings up the context menu,
and the top item on the menu is search, then explore, then open is third.
Please help!

Click Start | Run and type this command:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

To fix this manually in the registry from Start | Run | Regedit.
Navigate to
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
Set (default) to "none" (without ")

This problem occurs when you alter the File Folders entry from the File
Types dialog box.
