double click through to link

My question is:

· In situations where I have a cell which contains a link to another
cell in the same worksheet (or a cell in a separate worksheet), how do I
enable Excel so that when I double click on a cell, I automatically go to
the exact referenced/linked cell.

· Currently, when I double click on the cell which contains the link
address I do not automatically "jump" to the linked cell the location.

· I use to have this auto setting on Excel-03, but cannot replicate
this on Excel-07

Thanks Will

One click is easy:

Once the formula has been entered in the cell, click on the cell and:

Insert > Hyperlink > to a place in this document.

So if the formula is:

=B9*12

the hyperlink should be set up to jump to B9
