Double-click folder

few months back, did the whole "add print directory to
shor-cut menu" deal. And, of course, after that, every
time a folder was double clicked, the default action was
search. Got that changed back to opening the folder, but
the default action is Explore. How do I get this changed
back so the Default action is Open--which opens the
folder with the handy-dandy little pull-down screens on
the side for folder details, actions, etc etc etc. Right
now, i can still get there by right-click, but this is
tedious and anti-productive. thanks for any help!
