double click and search window opens?

Hi,
When I double click on a folder a search window opens instead of the folder
opening to the next layer. I can right click with the mouse and click on
open (which is the second option, search being the first)
How can I change the settings so when I double click on a folder it opens
it?

Search opens when a folder is double-clicked....... and David Candy says "regsvr32 /i shell32".
