Hello,
On my old notebook (HP Omnibook, Win 98SE) when I used the windows explorer,
the various items were hierarchically connected by a dotted line forming a
“treeâ€. On my new notebook (HP Pavilion zv5000, Win XP) this dotted line is
not visible. Also, while browsing with the Internet Explorer, the same type
of line in the form of a rectangular indicated which item was hit. This
happened both during the selection of an item and also when I returned back
(with the “back buttonâ€) indicating thus which item was previously selected.
This “dotted rectangular†is also not visible on my new notebook. Since this
feature is extremely useful I would please like to know if there some option
which I have to activate to make the line(s) visible. Changing the brightness
did not help. It looks as if the line is totally missing.
Thank you,
Dimitrios
