My problem : On a compaq PC we run a DOS program that
requires a considerable amount of conventional memory.
We use the default autoexec.nt and config.nt except for
the files=150 instead of the default files=40 in config.nt.
We use this on multiple PCs, some quite similar to one
another, others totally different.
PROBLEM : one PC does not load dosx.exe into high memory,
wheras all the other PCs do. As a result I do not have
enough conventional memory free on that particular PC.
What can be the cause??
