I am sorry but I do not know much about Windows XP PRO.
Could anyone help me? I need to boot to DOS.
Thank you for your help
Larry

If you have only NTFS partition, you will not be able to
boot to DOS. You can use DOS-bootable disket, but with no
chance to use HDD.

There is no DOS in Windows XP, and it's not possible to boot to
it. Your only options are

1. To use XP'S DOS emulation feature (type CMD at the Start | Run
line)

2. Boot from a DOS diskette.

3. Dual-boot both XP and DOS.

If you use options 2 or 3 and your drive is NTFS, you won't be
able to see it from the DOS boot, unless you install special
third-party software.
