Many DOS programs will not function to your liking in Windows XP. Suggest
you update to something a bit more modern - say made in the last 5 years.

You need to do whatever you did in real dos. This occurs when program and Dos are configured differently. If your program wasn't faulty windows would adapt to it. Try Corel groups (they own WP now). Try specifing WP to use the video mode Dos is using or vice versa. Try using the mode command. Configure Dos to use setting WP is expecting. WP is assuming stuff.

But normally this happens with home written programs. Commercial programs usually set the video mode. WP musn't do this (which I find surprising).

I made some tests and I realize that I have the same problem when I'm booting
in safe mode. I can't have a full sreen mode I only have a little screen in
the middle of my display. I'm using a laptop ACER Travemate 4010.

5.1?

Use an older OS to run it.
