DOS Restore cmd under XP

Does anyone know a way to restore an old file which was
backed up under the DOS command "Backup"? I used to
use "Restore" command. I have some old data files that
I'd like to restore and modify/upgrade to some current
software.

Thanks to anyone who knows the answer to this one....
 
You will have to find a computer that has the same version of DOS on it that
was used to create the backup. Then you can uncompress the backup and
transfer the files to your computer.

You'll find Dos 6's on Windows 95 CD-Roms or in a file called olddos on ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/MSLFILES/

Use setver to make it work with Dos 5
 
How big is the file? Small enough for a friend's Win95 (I think it still has
DOS Backup?) machine to email to you?
