Dos Program

I have a dos program that runs well in NT4.0 but under XP
using the mouse causes the program to hang. I can use
keyboard controls and there is no program hang. Just when
I use the mouse. I have tried all kinds of setting
changes in the shorcut tabs to no avail. Any help
appreciated.

You may have already diagnosed the problem - a DOS program. Remember
that DOS doesn't exist in XP in any way, shape or form. If the old
program is trying to access your mouse via direct hardware
manipulation, you will run into a problem. XP does not allow this.

Face the fact that you may have to give up using the program (or the
mouse while it is running). Live with the face.
