DOS Program Install

When I try to install a dos program from a floppy, the dos
window appears for a short time and then disappears. If I
get the program to start installing, the program starts to
install and stops and the window dissapears. Any ideas
greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you considered opening the command prompt and running the install
manually?
Also, since there is no "DOS" in Windows XP, you may want to consider it
just won't work.

Hi Khris,

What you can try to do is open up a command prompt (dos window) and run the
installation program from there.

Start -> Run -> type in "cmd" (without the quotes).

Once you have the command prompt open you can navigate to the floppy drive
by typing in a: and enter.

From there you'll run the installation program (refer to the manufacturers
directions).

This should enable you to see what's happening without the window going
away. This way you can see if there's any errors and try to resolve them
from there.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
