DOS Commands

Does anyone know a DOS command to close a program? We need to automate a
process and are trying to get a batch file that will open an exe and then
close it once the process is complete. We have everything except the closing
the program. We need it closed for security reasons.

That will work only if the program exits and returns control to
the batch file. And if the program does exit it's not necessary,
as one can close the batch file window with a simple EXIT
command.

One option is to create a separate batch file that runs after the
first is completed, and kills the process.
