DOS can not be closed after telnet timeout

O

Hi,

I encountered this problem for serveral times already,
after the telnet session timeout (telnet to Cisco PIX
firewall), the DOS can not be closed, can not be killed in
task manager, the server can not be log off or proper
shutdown.

Anyone get any idea how to kill that DOS session?

Thanks

Assuming your operating system is win2000, XP or 2003, then if you're using
command.com for your 'DOS' prompt, try using cmd.exe instead.
