Don't want this code to execute

HI All,

Could not find an appropiate group to ask this question. But it does relate
to C#.
I have an aspx app, running on a DNN portal. Part of it lists tutorials,
very very basic stuff. But the problem is that when I put in sample code
such as <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true"
CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication1._Default" %>, I get
an erro as this is trying to execute, I think. A critical error has
occurred.The server block is not well formed.
I tried putting it into a textarea, but that did not work. I tried encoding
it using things like &lt. But I get the error
A critical error has occurred.The directive 'page' is unknown.

Can some one point me to a place where I can find some answers

Thanks
Robert
