I am getting on error message every time I open a page in
IE6,. Done, but with error on page with an exclamation
mark next to it. The page(s) do have numerou error on
them. If I switch to another user on the same computer no
such problem occurs. I am running Xp, obviously. Please

Quite by accident I discovered what was causing my problem. I use a utility
called AdSubtract to suppress all those annoying pop up ads, banners, etc.
When I shut the utility off, the error on page problems goes away.

.
I did have web washer and uninstalled it. Problem still
occurs. Downloaded Avant Browser but don't have problem
with this.

Check for parasites.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
