domian to workgroup and now passwords dont work

I hope someone can help me.

I have changed a laptops configuration from a domain to a
workgroup. On logging back in (even as the
administrator) the system no longer accepts the
password. I tried safe mode and nothing works.

Has anyone any advise as to what I can do?

You'll need to bring the computer back to work and ask the domain admin to
re-join your laptop to the domain. Without the local administrator
credentials you can't log in - and even with them, your domain profile won't
be accessible.
