domain tree missing from location list when adding users to local groups

I am trying to add domain users (and a group) to a local
Group on Workstations in W2k Active Server installation.

When I press the 'locations' button, I can only see the
local machine, not the domain, so cannot add domain users.

Yes, it happens on all the machines on the Domain.

They can all browse the network properly, get access to
shared directories on the Domain Server, but if you want
to share local drives to specific domain users, you
cannot see the domain in the location tree their either,
only the local machine. This makes me thing it's the
server.

Computer Browser service appears running properly on all
machines

But are the workstations logged into the domain? I suspect they are logged
in on the local machine, and not in the domain.
