domain consoldation

John M

I have 3 domains parent, child1.parent, and child2.parent
child1 and parent are both Windows 2003 , Exchange 2003 and child2 is still
w2k and Exchange 2000, all domains are native mode for AD and Exchange.

All of Exchange is in 1 org.

I want to move everything from child2 into child1 and remove child2.

How can I do this?

thanks
John

You would want to use Active Directory Management Tool Kit, a free resource
from Microsoft. I have included several links below. You will want to read
up and prepare for it. This is something that will take a bit of research
if you want to do it correctly.

ADMT -

HI,

Migrate users/groups from child2 to child1, move mailboxes from the
migrated users, migrate resources if needed and re-acl the resources.
For this you can use ADMT (or other tools in the resource kit) from MS
and if more advanced stuff (like re-acl-ing SQL, IIS, DCOM, etc) is
needed a third-party migration tooling

Cheers
