Doesn't shut down computer

R

Ron

I recently loaded Windows XP Professional. When I go to
shut down my computer, it tells me that it is "shutting
down" and then it tells me that it is "safe to turn off
my computer". Shouldn't it turn off my computer
automatically? It did when I had the other Window
programs.

My question is " Why doesn't it do it now?" What should I
do? Thank you.
