Did an upgrade from XP pro SP2 to Vista Ultimate. Windows Mail installed and
now no express is on the computer. All my folders for holding my emails are
present, and show that there are emails in the folders in large numbers, but
when I click a folder, it says nothing is in it, and I don't understand where
they went.

You may have to import those folders into Windows Mail before you can
see anything inside them.

Copy the .dbx folders you want to import, and the .dbx file that is an index
to
the other .dbx files, into a directory on your hard drive. Make sure the
copies
are read-write instead of readonly before you tell Windows Mail to import
the whole directory containing them.
